Meet the Staff
Office Manager

Claudia
I work in our front office and find it very rewarding to help patients with any problems they have regarding their accounts or scheduling. I try to get to know each patient on a personal level and love learning about their family, work, school, or activities. Working here is great because we all do our jobs well but like to laugh and have fun, too! I have two sons and one daughter, as well as two wonderful grandchildren and two cats. My free time is spent working in the yard, reading, and playing with my grandchildren.
Our Assistants

Robin
I assist Dr. Dean with a variety of patient procedures and ensure that they are as comfortable as possible when they’re in our office. I love to talk to and have fun with our patients; they’re a great group of people and I like to get to know them. Outside the office, I spend most of my free time with my husband, our child, and three dogs. I also enjoy doing yard work and swimming.

Kim
I work in our clinical area as an assistant to Dr. Dean. I enjoy working in the dental field and make it my first priority to help patients relax while they’re in the dental chair. Each patient I meet is a special member of our dental family and I strive each day to treat them as such. At home, I have a husband, two sons, and a cat. We enjoy outdoor activities as a family, especially canoeing and hiking.
Our Hygienists

J. D.
I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1980. I graduated from Grissom High School and attended UAB hygiene program. I have been with this practice since 2000 and am active in continuing education classes including CPR and infection control. My goal is to provide our patients with a comfortable, friendly dental experience at each and every visit. I love to see our patients smile! I have two sons, Hunter and Judson. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, doing crafts, gardening, and cooking.

Scarlett
The clinical side of my job is to work with Dr. Dean to meet the oral health needs of our patients. However, I feel that my job is more than just providing preventive dental care.I feel that it is my responsibility to make every patient as comfortable and informed as possible. My patients are not just names on a chart, they are people who have chosen to trust me and it is my goal to maintain that trust and confidence. My husband, Patrick, and I have two daughters, Camryn and Reese, two cats, and one dog. My interests outside of dentistry include photography and serving with my church.
